As I mentioned in my very first post, I am in my third year of college. If you are or have been in college, you know how crucial it is to pinch pennies. When I got my first job and then my first paycheck I thought, “Gee, this is great! I have so much money to spend on clothes!” (I’m sure this is what most girls think when they receive their first paycheck, right?) However, when I started to actually pay some bills and pay for gas, I quickly realized how little money I actually have. *Tears* So, instead of splurging on Louis Vuitton handbags and Louboutins, I’m stuck drooling over my keyboard whilst perusing the world wide web of gorgeous fashion that I will never see in real life. 😦 One of my favorite designers is Nanette Lepore. I could sit at my computer for hours pining for her beautiful clothes and watching old runway shows. Above is a dress that I found on Nordstrom.com (here) that I think is absolutely amazing. Even though we’re transitioning into fall, I am so in love with the vibrant color of this dress (“seaside” is the color on the website). The scalloped-lace detailing around the neckline and through the back of the dress is stunning and delicate at the same time. Sadly, it’s a bit out of my price range at a whopping $378.00 (before shipping). Until I start making the big bucks (yeah right) after graduation, I’ll just have to settle for silently crying at my desk and thinking about how many paychecks I’d need to justify buying this.
