Top: Talbots (Thrifted); Pants: Wet Seal; Shoes: JCPenney
When I found this shirt while thrifting, I was in love with its pattern but wasn’t sure about the shape. It’s quite boxy, and the sleeves are very unflattering. But with a bit of tucking and a roll of the sleeves, it turned out to be one of my favorite finds. It’s a little more summer-appropriate, but I’m hoping to make it work with a black cardigan in the fall and winter seasons. I also think it would look great with some black, wedged booties. Here, I just paired it with some chunky black bracelets, black flats, and dangley black earrings. I was going for a 50’s vibe, so I opted for some red lips and curled my hair as well. The color and pattern of the shirt reminded me of Minnie Mouse. Maybe I should pair this shirt with some giant ears and oversized yellow heels instead!
