Get Fit

So, just like everyone else this new year, I’ve been on a health kick lately. I’ve been trying to better my eating habits and exercise daily. (Typical, right?) Usually when I work out I just throw on some sweats and an old high school t-shirt. Lately, though, my usual workout ensemble has been making me feel kind of frumpy and not very motivated to work out. Being a self-proclaimed fashionista, I like to dress up/dress cute because it makes me feel good and confident. So, I decided to purchase some cuter workout clothes in the hopes that they would make me feel better and more motivated while I workout. I honestly believe this theory has been helping me get excited for working out. Mandi and I were out the other night, and she told me about some exercise clothes she got from Wal-Mart. That’s right ladies, Wal-Mart. We decided to swing by the nearest store, and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of activewear available. As per usual, the prices were also extremely cheap. I only picked up four items, but I will definitely be going back for more. I know some people think it’s silly when girls “dress up” for the gym or to workout, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wearing a cute outfit to get yourself pumped for working out so long as you’re still willing to break a good sweat and do some work in those clothes! Here are the items I bought on my quest to Wal-Mart:

Actice Tanks

Danskin Now Women’s Essential Workout Tank $3.96

Active Shorts

Danskin Now Women’s Mesh Panel Running Shorts $6.96

(I bought two pairs of these. You can never have enough shorts!)

Active Tees

Danskin Now Women’s V-Neck Tees $5.96
