Ladies, the dreaded day is approaching us….that’s right, Valentine’s Day! Duh duh duhhhhh. Just kidding. I actually don’t mind Valentine’s Day too much, but I try not to take it too seriously. The older I get the more I think V-Day is kind of just an excuse to get dressed up rather than a reason to receive gifts and all that jazz. Sure, those things are nice, but showing your love for your significant other shouldn’t just be saved for one day out of the whole year. And what about all the single guys and gals? (Not that single guys probably get too distraught on February 14th.) Like I said, I like to think of Valentine’s Day as a day to wear those bright red shoes or the heart-printed dress I might not wear too much any other time of the year. Whether you’re going on a date with your man or hanging out with your girlfriends, it’s always nice to look good and feel good about yourself, especially if you’re feeling down while you watch all the couples get lovey-dovey. (But seriously, girl, put down the ice cream and turn the depressing Adele song off and slowly back away from The Notebook DVD!) I put together three outfits that I think would be nice for a variety of V-Day outings. Let me know what you think!
