When Your Boyfriend Drags You to the Ballpark…

If you’re like me, you have a love/hate relationship with baseball. Watching the games on television can be one of the most tedious, boring activities. However, going to the games in person is fun, exciting, and all around a great time. Because I’m a girl, one of my favorite things about going to the games is picking out a cute, sporty outfit to wear. Go ahead, judge all you want. I know the purpose of going to the ballpark is to watch the actual game, but what can I say? I like fashion. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy watching the games, and I even get into them and yell with the rest of the crowd. I know this isn’t always the case for some girls. While at the games, I’ve seen girls who look like they’re having a blast and are thoroughly enjoying themselves, but I’ve also seen girls who look beyond bored and like they can’t wait to get out of there. If you are the latter, try taking my approach and viewing the game as a chance to get dressed up in a cute baseball t-shirt and shorts. You guys know how much I love putting together outfits for different occasions, so I put together three outfits for you girls. They range from an enthusiastic fan to a casual observer. I hope you like them!

Outfit #1

Outfit #1

This outfit is for the enthusiastic gal. I’m a big fan of baseball caps because I think they look cute and they’re great if you’re having a bad hair day. I also love the girly versions of baseball jerseys because they add a masculine touch to the outfit while remaining feminine in their shape and fit. I like the look of leaving them unbuttoned with a tank underneath for a super casual look. And, of course, you gotta have the Converse. These are my favorite brand of sneakers because you can pair them with a ton of stuff , and I’m a big fan of wearing comfortable shoes so these are also great for that purpose.

Outfit #2

This outfit is great for hotter weather. The shorts are a nice length because they’re short enough to keep your legs cool but also long enough so that you won’t be yankee-ing (I couldn’t help myself, it was too punny) them down every 5 minutes in order to keep from accidentally showing your booty to your neighbors. Again, I had to add the Converse shoes because they add such a nice laid back feel to the outfit. You can also see that I like to keep my ballpark outfits pretty simple because too many layers and accessories can make for an uncomfortable couple of hours in my opinion. A pair of sunglasses is always a good accessory to have because I find that no matter where you sit you will almost always encounter the sun at some point in the game, and of course you need to protect those beautiful eyes of yours!

Outfit #3

Outfit #3

I feel as though this last outfit is a nice mixture of the previous two. You’ve got a nice pair of capri pants so that if it’s cold your legs won’t be freezing, but if it’s warm they also won’t be too hot. Once again, the Converse are a must because when you’re walking around the ballpark you don’t want to be worried about the crowds stepping on your toes or hobbling around in a pair of sandals that gives you blisters. The sunglasses are necessary for protecting your eyes against the summer sun. And, the watch helps to remind you that you’ve been spending the last three hours of your life watching grown men play a childhood past time. ; ) Just kidding, enjoy the game ladies and have fun!
