Second Anniversary

Well, it feels strange to be writing a blog post again after my eight month hiatus. I figured there was no better time to start blogging again than the second anniversary of my blog. I can’t believe two years have already passed since I started writing down my thoughts and publishing them for all the world to see. Anyway, as most of you probably know, Adam and I got engaged last summer. Let me tell you, it has been a whirlwind of craziness over the past year or so. Wedding planning was not my forte. It stressed me out and made me extremely indecisive about basically everything in life. After so many months of being asked “this or that, how many, when, what is” and so on and so forth, it’s hard not to question every single detail of every single decision. BUT, I made it and we made it and now we are MARRIED. I can’t even believe it! Words can’t express how perfect our wedding day was and how special it still is to both of us. I can’t wait to keep living this life with my husband. So far, we’re still experiencing marital bliss, but I think that’s to be expected.

Because of all the wedding planning, Chez Bri fell to the wayside. But I’ve missed it so much! I can’t wait to share my outfits, W.I.Y.’s, beauty tips, and so much more. There will probably be some life posts as well because why not? I hope you all will stick around to see what happens next on Chez Bri. The photos above are just a small portion of what’s happened over the past eight months.

1. My bridal shower was full of women I love, and we felt so blessed at the end of the day.

2. I never thought I’d have a bachelorette party, but it ended up being a blast with my best girls.

3. We wore matching shirts on our flight to Hawaii for our honeymoon. Cheesy, but so much fun every time someone said “Mr. and Mrs.”

4. The view from our balcony during our honeymoon. Hawaii is by far the most beautiful place I have EVER seen.

  1. Chez Bri,

I’m so glad you are married and happy! I bet your wedding was FAB-U-LOUS. I Hope I can get married to such a sexy guy one day. He makes me swoon just looking at him. Ahhhhh….Adam….

    For ever and always,

  2. Chez Bri,

Wonderful to see some shots from your honeymoon, the perfect occasion to start up your blogs again. Are you going to share some fashion secrets from your wedding? Having been invited to the blessed event, I must emphasize to the Chez Bri audience that you looked absolutely stunning. Your dress could not have been a better choice for you, and all your bridesmaids looked beautiful as well. And of course, the men were classy too.
