Circles and Stripes

Top: TargetJeans: Chico’s (similar and similar); Sandals: Arden B (similar and similar); Necklace: Target (similar and similar); Watch: Anne Klein

Last week, I went shopping with my mom and sister. We hit up Target, as you know, and I got some great deals while we were there. You guys know I love deals! I had a couple gift cards leftover from my birthday, so those combined with sales gave me the chance to get out of Target with three new shirts, a pair of jeans, and a somewhat pricey concealer for just over $20 out of pocket. And let me just say, the gift cards I had didn’t contain a large amount, so spending only $20 on all of that was awesome!

This top was one of my exciting finds. I’m a huge fan of stripes and was immediately drawn to this shirt as soon as I saw it. As I’ve mentioned before, I also really love black and white together. Basically what I’m saying is this top was meant for me. Target had a ton of t-shirts like this to choose from, and they are so comfortable! They’re perfect when you just want to throw something on but look like you actually tried. I also bought this knowing that it will be a great layering piece for fall. I decided to pair this circle necklace with my striped top. I think the shape of the necklace compliments the stripes really well. I’m sure by now you know how much I love my pairs of Chico’s jeans. I’ve had them for a couple years now, I wear them all the time, and each pair has held up beautifully!

On a side note, I usually don’t do anything to my hair, but I’ve been following a bunch of girls who do hairstyle videos on YouTube, and now I feel like I can’t get my hair to grow fast enough! There are so many cute braids and up-do’s I want to do, but my hair just isn’t quite there yet (sad face). I have these moments where I want to try these cute hairstyles out, but then I see someone with a bob and think, “Oh, maybe I should actually cut my hair shorter!” Do any of you ever have that dilemma? Life is so hard, right? (Totally kidding.) Anyway, I will feel very accomplished when I can start doing those hairstyles.

I hope you have a great weekend!
